X-MEN TIMELINE NUMBER REVEALED! GAMBIT TIMELINE EXPLAINS DOOMSDAY PLAN

What’s going on, guys? Welcome to Everything Always, Now in 2015’s Jonathan Hickman’s Secret Wars, there were two timelines that mainly battled with the destruction of the multiverse, the 616 and the Ultimate’s 1610. And while we know we have half of that in the Sacred Timeline, the 616, and the MCU, there are still question marks as to which other timeline Marvel Studios is going to use to substitute for the 1610. Quick side note,

It’s unlikely they’ll give it that designation, as the original designers of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe designed the characters after the 1610 Ultimates in the first place. That being said, some timelines along the way have been introduced with their designation numbers, like the 838 in the Multiverse of Madness, the 1005 in Deadpool and Wolverine, and rumored to be the 828 in the upcoming Fantastic Four. But one timeline has remained unrevealed, and that’s where Monica Rambeau ended up.

with an X-Men at the end of The Marvels? Well, if this latest update coming from an industry insider slash Twitter Scoobster is true, we actually have an answer to both of these questions, and they’re one and the same. We’re breaking it all down in this latest update that says which timeline is going to be filling in for the 1610 to go up against the 616, what the designation number is, and what this means for Marvel Studios’ plan for not only the Fox X-Men characters,

But other Fox characters are coming along as well. But first, if you could grab the subscribe button, thanks to everyone who’s been subbing lately and helping grow the channel. If you haven’t already, I would just kindly invite you to do so. It’s the number one thing you can do to support us here as content creators. Plus, we’re doing a couple of rounds of the Fantastic Four Ticket Giveaways. We’ll announce a brand-new winner at the end of this video. All you have to do is subscribe, leave a comment, and stick around at the end of the video. We’ll announce a brand-new winner there.

Okay, so this latest update comes from a source that we have covered before here at the channel. He’s a Spanish Twitter scoopster who goes by the name of Quidvocow. I hope I’m pronouncing that right. He has his own newsletter called Cineverse, and this was his latest update: it’s going to be revealed that Gambit’s universe is the same one that Monica Rambeau ended up in in The Marvels, where we saw Beast and Binary.

Now this is actually a huge reveal because it shows a lot about what Marvel’s plan is, and we’re going to get into some of the leaks during this video as well. This is where I’ll issue the spoiler warning in case you haven’t kept up with that stuff and don’t want to know. But this is them going out of their way to make sure they don’t make it overcomplicated and spread their characters across the multiverse.

They’re taking Gambit, who in a deleted post-credit scene was shown to have a portal open up and be saved from the void, and placing him in the X-Men universe where Monica Rambeau already is. That shows that their attempt here is to make them all the same universe. And if you missed our coverage of someone who was in attendance for that merchandising conference where Marvel Studios showed a sizzle reel and reveals officially for both Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Avengers: Doomsday,

He said that it was implied by the sizzle reel that Deadpool was fighting alongside Gambit and the other X-Men, ipso facto Deadpool was there, and Wolverine too. That places the entirety of the X-Men, or at least these returning characters, in one singular timeline, and it was revealed during Deadpool and Wolverine that timeline is the 1005. So if all of this is accurate and lines up the way it looks like it does, it’s going to be the 616 versus the 1005, and that

Is the X-Men timeline that Monica Rambeau is in the same timeline we’ve seen in the behind-the-scenes set photos, again, major spoiler warning, where it looks like we’re in the courtyard of the X-Mansion? It’s all one continuity, and I think it’s very safe to go one step further. With rumors we may see some of the original Fantastic Four, maybe Blade sticking around, or any of the other characters that are coming back from the Legacy Fox or otherwise X-Men universe, that means they’re all in the 1005 as well.

Make it super easy; just streamline all of that continuity into one singular timeline. And of course, if you want to nitpick, if you want to point out all of the intrinsic plot holes for that continuity in the first place, of course you’re going to be able to do that. Absolutely. Or you could just let them make it easy, which I think is the best way to do it, and just put it all into one universe, the 10,005, and have those two face off and rather create Battleworld. Now, what this means for the Spider-Men…

Spider-Men, Spider-Man’s is a completely different story. I doubt that they’ll try to shove Tobey Maguire’s or Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men into either of those Fox universes or into the same one. That wouldn’t make sense either. And because Sony has a hand in that, I’m sure

They’ll have to be from different universes, but that’s not too hard to explain. I mean, think about it. Of all the stuff they’ve got to get through, they could easily work that explainer in there. Maybe a couple of other timelines that were tied to the 616 originally, like Andrew and Toby showing up there, somehow sort of tied them into existence when Battleworld was forged. Who knows? But I think by doing this, you make it as easy as possible to have less explaining. And I think that’s really where some of the Marvel movies have fallen down. Just in my honest appraisal,

of some of the dialogue writing in Captain America: Brave New World, we don’t need our hands held. It’s actually cooler when they don’t explain something, like when he talked about Serpent as if it had already been around and they already knew about it. And the problem facing the Rousseaus is that there is a lot to be explained. And look, they’re probably the perfect guys to do this because they kept it moving in Infinity War and, for the most part, during Avengers: Endgame and scenes where they could have gotten bogged down in explainers.

quote-unquote dialogue And you think that they would need a lot of that in this upcoming Avengers Doomsday, but that’s where you put the action in and actually just go with the story you’ve got in front of you and leave a lot of that explainer stuff out into our imagination. It makes for a way cooler story, it makes for a way better storytelling pace, and again, I want to give the Rousseaus basically the benefit of the doubt because they did Infinity War and Avengers Endgame.

Those looked impossible at the time, as impossible as it looks for them now, because these movies feel like they’re at least two or three times bigger. But if they do choose to address them, quite honestly, there are some very easy explainers lying around the MCU. Just look at the Loki series, as the TVA has completely changed how they operate from the very beginning of the series, improving timelines. And of course, Loki has taken his seat at the center of the multiverse instead of at the loom. So…

There have got to have been changes to how those timelines have worked. For whatever changes happened with the X-Men 1005 universe, you could literally just chalk it up to that and use it to explain why there may be lots of changes to the way that the multiverse was previously.

But you guys let me know all your thoughts down below, how you feel about any and all of this, and if you see the same vision that they see, just making it all one universe so we can cut down on the multiverse jumping and explaining they can use it to bring as many characters in as they want.
